to experience joy in life and relationships?
God wants us to live in joy and fellowship with Himself and one another. However, mankind’s fall into sin brought emotional pain and negative emotions such as anger, grief, fear, guilt, shame, depression, disappointment, etc. into life and relationships. Individuals and families experience trials, conflicts, and heartaches and often find themselves or loved ones living in the negative emotion camp instead of a house of joy. Roger Daum shares from Scripture how God’s priority for individuals, couples, and families is to experience joy in relationship with God and one another. He will also address the “Joy Killers” of selfishness, hypocrisy, and bitterness in relationships and give practical and Biblical instruction on how to overcome the “Joy Killers” and cooperate with God in making your life and family a house of joy, so that “The Joy of the Lord is your strength”.
