Who?
Camp Witness is seeking individuals, families and churches to make a ongoing commitment to the financial support of the Camp Witness ministry. Over the years, as you have become familiar with the ministry of Camp Witness, many of you have come to see the significant impact it has in lives. We want those of you who believe in the ministry to have the opportunity to share in the blessings. Likewise, we would love for some of you to become champions of the GRAPES program by encouraging others to check out the web site and prayerfully consider your possible involvement.
What?
Commit to one or more of the various GRAPES categories. Commit what God has laid on your heart and be blessed knowing you are making a difference.
When?
Regularly. From a financial perspective, one of the things camp needs most is regular income. This will allow for planning and stewardship that isn't available today.
Where?
Sign up online by following the "Make a Commitment" link.
Another option for "where" is in your home. Consider hosting a Camp Witness Supper or Dessert in your home. You can present the ministry of Camp Witness to a select group of friends and encourage them to also partner with the ministry. If you aren't comfortable speaking in front of others and with enough notice, a representative of camp would be willing to make the presentation. Don't worry; we will keep it to 15-20 minutes.
Your church is another option. Representatives from camp can make a presentation about the Camp Witness ministry to your whole church on a Sunday morning. This can be in the form of pulpit fill or a shorter overview presentation. Consider this in the off season, when camp's representatives have a more open schedule.
Also consider presenting the need to your church's mission committee or church board.
Why?
Camp reaches youth from up to three hundred miles in several directions. Your participation with Camp Witness is an effective way for you to impact these young people for eternity. A few dollars goes a long way. If you know the ministry of Camp Witness, you already know the why.
