Couples Retreat 2009Speaker:The Daum’s have been married for 34 years. After pastoring local churches for 30 years, in Jan. of 2006, Roger and Brenda began “Restoration Ministries” to strengthening marriages, families, churches, and communities through practical teaching on enhancing loving relationships. They are affiliated with Caring for the Heart Ministries in Colorado Springs, CO and Living Foundation Ministries in Blue Springs, MO., and operate the ministry from their home in Cozad, NE. This ministry is unique in that individuals or couples come from the area as well other states to seek help in resolving core emotional pain that creates other problems and hinders emotional and spiritual intimacy in relationships. Unresolved pain from childhood or earlier life experiences emotionally locks a person to hinder them from loving or being loved. Once those barriers are removed people are able to start caring for the emotional needs of others in a refreshing new way. They are also given practical tools on how to keep their hearts open to give and receive love.
