Staff Support – Gifts given to this fund will help increase salaries of the Camp Director, Program Director, and Director of Promotions and Marketing. Please help us work toward fully funded staff positions. Camp Director: Joel Barrow's salary is at approximately 1/2 of a full time position. Program Director: Jason Badje of Colome, SD is currently filling this position, his only pay being that which comes in as designated for his support. Director of Camp Promotions and Marketing: Glenn Smith of Treynor, IA serves in this much needed area with his only pay being that which comes in as designated for his support. He has recently purchased a house in Ainsworth to allow him further involvement at Camp as he lives and works in IA.
Capital Improvement Fund – This fund
will include the building project, and other prioritized capitol improvements.
There is approximately $25,000 designated for the building project.
General Fund – Camp desires to keep
registration fees at approximately 50% of what our actual expenses are and still
maintain that no one will be turned away from camp due to the inability to pay
the registration fees. Giving to the general fund will help us keep registration
fees at an affordable rate. Memorial Gifts - Gifts can be made to Camp Witness on behalf of a departed loved and designated toward one of the above categories. Summer Staff Needs Camp Witness provides service opportunities for people interested in ministering in a Bible Camp setting. Individuals may also volunteer on a weekly basis, however, a summer commitment holds the best benefit to the staff and campers. More than anything we are looking for a person who is a born again believer in Jesus Christ who wishes to serve Him with their whole hearts - someone who has a teachable spirit, who loves children, and the outdoors. If accepted for a position at Camp Witness, workers can receive fund-raising assistance from Camp Witness. Camp will help with bulk mailing of support letters, and provide a letter of endorsement from the camp director explaining your involvement with Camp. For more information contact the camp director.
