Every summer, Camp hires staff members to help maintain the grounds, facilitate activities, and connect with campers.

Summer Staff

Lead Counselor/Cabin Leader:

Requirements:

• Professed Faith in Jesus Christ
• Age: one year out of high school
• Have a passion for youth

Responsibilities:

• Supervising a new group of campers every week.
• Leading Activities
• Leading cabin Devotions
• Teaching the truths of the Bible to campers
• CL’s may also participate in the worship team and/or help as nursing staff depending on talents and credentials.

Payment: Variable* (depending on responsibilities and certifications)
Camp Witness summer staff receive pay at or above most summer camps.
Summer staff are encouraged to raise support which is added to camp wages. Support up to $4000 is allowed for summer long staff positions.

Comment: Cabin Leaders are what make the experience for campers. They hang out with them, keep them safe, and and pour into them like a big brother/sister.

Jr. Counselor/Jr. Cabin Leader:

Requirements:

• Professed Faith in Jesus Christ
• Age: one year older than oldest campers being supervised
• Have a passion for youth

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Cabin Leaders in their duties
• Being flexible to help around camp in different capacities,
• JCL’s may also participate in the worship team and/or help as nursing staff
• depending on talents and credentials.

Payment: Small stipend and encouraged to raise additional support

Comment: JCL’s wear many hats and are very vital in keeping the gears of camp rolling.
